Concealed Carry Course

Service Description

Learn how to safely, effectively, and legally carry a firearm! In this course we will cover the tactical and legal considerations of concealed carry. While we do not offer legal advice (we leave that to the attorneys), we will look at the Code of Virginia to learn how to find the laws pertaining to concealed carry. Other topics we will discuss include: -holster options -different carrying methods -choosing a concealed carry firearm -applying for a concealed handgun permit - and, of course, firearms safety. Taught by a current Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor and Defensive Tactics Instructor This course is classroom-only, so no need for ammunition or firearms. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate which meets the statutory requirements to be utilized as "proof-of-training" needed for the concealed handgun permit application. Class will be held at Journey Christian Fellowship located at 3020 New Kent Hwy. Quinton, VA 23141. Food and beverages will be available for purchase through Safari Coffee
